Jennifer Athanasiou is a Florida native and military daughter who moved often throughout her childhood. Her interest in photography was sparked at the age of eight while living in Okinawa, Japan. More than 30 years later, it has become an outlet from her stressful work as a 911 dispatcher. As a mostly self-taught digital photographer, she captures the beauty and intrigue of her surroundings with simple composition. She is always in search of new trails, parks, landscapes, travel destinations, and abandoned buildings to expand her portfolio.
